Nigeria - Seventeen patients, all Nigerians were on Wednesday discharged from the various isolation centres in Lagos.
The patients, six females and 11 males, were discharged from the Yaba, Gbagada and LUTH Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
The Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who disclosed this during his daily briefings.
According to him, seven of the patients are discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, six from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and four, from Gbagada General Hospital Isolation Centre.
“All of them were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19 in two consecutive readings,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said.
This brings to 649 the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos.
